Lisburn Distillery 0 Northend United 0 Saturday 20th December 2014
Northend, in the end, were disappointed not to take all three points in this match. They dominated the first half and should have gone into the break at least 2 goals clear. Conall Gordon and Conor McGarry both had great chances to score but pick of the bunch was Ruairi Campbell's piledriver from 35 yards which hit the post and bounced wide. Despite creating several great chances, they failed to score. Half-time 0 - 0
The second half was more even and Lisburn Distillery, like all top sides, could have nicked this with 5 minutes to go. Conall Gordon and Tom Patchett had great chances to put Northend ahead early in the second half, but sadly missed. Lisburn had a great chance to score in the last few minutes, but justice prevailed and the match ended in a hard fought 0 - 0 draw.

Lisburn Youth 2 Northend United 1 Saturday 6th December 2014
Northend started this match on the front foot and immediately put pressure on the Lisburn Youth side. The Blues were playing well, creating a number of chances and should have been 3-0 up but they could not convert their chances. The Northend defence of Jones, McAuley, Lorimar and Brady were in top form with Jones and McAuley getting forward down the wings at every opportunity.
Lisburn took the lead just before half time, when they played a long-ball over the top and caught out the Northend defence and their striker ran on to slip the ball past the advancing Connor Brennan in the Northend nets. Half time score 1-0
The Blues came out in top form for the second half and one minute into the half, a Robbie Jones throw-in was headed on by Tom Patchett to Conor McGarry who made no mistake to score past the Lisburn keeper.
Lisburn scored their second goal in the match, following a goalmouth scramble, which the Blues defence failed to deal with.
Robert Iovu thought he had pulled Northend level in this match, when he volleyed the ball past the Lisburn keeper, following a good pass from Robert McCluney, but the referee disallowed the goal for a dubious off-side decision. Final score 2-1
This was a good team performance from Northend but one in which they failed to take their chances when on top in this match.

Northend United 1 Bloomfield 1 Saturday 29th November 2014
This was a classic game of two halves and Northend were missing three first team regulars to injury/ sickness. Bloomfield had more of the play in the first half and were slightly unfortunately to go in only one goal up at the break. Half-time score 1-0
Northend dominated the entire second half and were unfortunate to only score one goal scored by Chris Fullerton. In addition to the goal, they hit the post once, the bar twice and created enough chances to win three football matches, but this was not to be their day. Full-time score 1-1.

St Oliver Plunketts Juniors 0 Northend United 5 NIBFA Cup Saturday 22nd November 2014
On paper this looked like a tricky away cup tie in Belfast but Northend, in the end, easily negotiated their way into the 2nd round of the NIBFA Cup. Northend took the lead 20 minutes into the first half when Robert Iovu rose highest at the far post to head home Ryan Lorimer's superb right wing cross. Northend should have added to their tally in the first half but didn't, their best effort a free kick from Tom Patchett which bounced off the crossbar and wide. Half time score 0-1
Northend went 0-2 ahead 15 minutes into the 2nd half through a Robert Iovu penalty. Tom Patchett scored Northend's third after beating two men then firing low into the corner. Conor McGarry made it four following in to knock home Conall Gordon's rebounded shot. Tom Patchett made it 0-5 with the best goal of the game, chipping the keeper with the outside of his left foot. Final score 0-5

Windmill 1 Northend United 4 Saturday 8th November 2014
This young team had lost their way last couple weeks so team was realigned to try and get them back on track. Despite going one nil down on eight minutes, they shook themselves down and played arguably their best football of the season. Ryan Lorimer equalised with a superb near post header from a Conor McGarry cross. Robert Iovu put Northend 1 - 2 ahead five minutes before the break. Matthew Willighan almost made it 1-3 when his well struck shot from 35 yards, struck the crossbar and bounced over. Half-time score 1 - 2
Northend dominated the second half, played some superb free flowing passing football and created a bagful of chances. Ruairi Campbell and Robert Iovu scored almost identical goals within the space of five minutes, both finishing well after dribbling at pace through the Windmill defence. Windmill are a very good well drilled side but Northend were hard to stop in this kind of form. Final score 1-4
There were some strong performances from all Northend players here so unfair to single one or two out for Man of the Match. Sam Frew suffered a bad injury ten minutes into the match and was taken to hospital so best wishes Sam from all your team-mates and hopefully you recover soon to rejoin the squad.
